Christmas Point |
| Christmas Point is another of the Similan's best sites with boulders, soft corals, arches and passages spread out over a huge area on the west side of island no. 9. More than one dive is needed to see it all. White tip sharks are often seen in deeper sandy areas. Beautiful soft coral gardens hide between the rocks, and the sand rubble bottom is great for critters like nudibranchs and ribbon eels. |

Donald Duck Bay |
| Donald Duck Bay is a rock resembling the popular cartoon character's head is perched on the north side of the bay. This is a popular site for day trippers and snorkellers as island No. 8 also has camping facilities. Easily the most recognizable and photographed landmark. |

Koh Bangu, or Island No. 9 |
| Koh Bangu, or Island No. 9 is the Northern most of the islands. The site consists of a collection of enormous submerged granite boulders. They fancifully resemble rocky mountains separated by wide valleys, their sheer sides punctuated occasionally by clusters of soft coral and radiant crinoids; with small crevices housing a diversity of marine life. |

Koh Miang, or Island No. 4 |
| Koh Miang, or Island No. 4 is the second large island in size. There are 2 white powder beaches as beautiful as any in Thailand. The large beach and the small beach on separate sides of the island are separated by a 10 minute walking trail through the evergreen forest. This island is also the only island with overnight accommodation. |

Koh Similan, or Island No. 8 |
| Koh Similan, or Island No. 8 is the largest in the chain of islands, offering bird watching and nature trails. In its 'Donald Duck Bay', named because the granite rock formations resemble the Disney character, there is a viewpoint well worth trekking up to for sweeping views of the islands. There is also a 2.5 km walking trail here. |
