Tri Trang Beach is located in a nice and quiet small bay in front of the deluxe Merlin Beach Resort where only longtail boats to and from Freedom Beach break the silence. It is another small one of the beaches in the headland south of Patong. The beach is rather stony making it totally unsuitable to swiming.

However, there are two reasons for choosing this beach; firstly, it is the closest beach to the charming Freedom Beach. Secondly, it is good for snorkeling when the tide is in there. While waiting for high tide, you can relax under the colourful umbrellas or get some stress relieving Thai massage. When the tide is in, the sea is crystal clear offering good snorkeling with a lots of coral and in all sizes colorful fish.

Tri Trang Beach is ideal for sea lovers who want to get away from all yet not far from entertainmet and shopping areas of Patong.
